Hi, My name is Xuan Kuang. I'm a pianist who comes from south part of China. I began my piano career at the ate of 5. My love of music was cultivated by my teacher in Wuhan, Ms.Jiang ZhenRui. My early music life was joined numerous piano competition. I received 1st Prize in competitions such as:State OMTA, WuHan Piano Competition. Naftez Piano Competition. China Nationalal Music Festival. I have had the honor of performing in masterclass with Mr. Zhao XiaoSheng(Head of ShangHai Conservatory of Music);Mr.Xu Hong(Pianist), Elizabath Prindoff. Yoshi Nagai. I recived my Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance at Wuhan Conservatory of Music in Wuhan, China where I studied with Ms.Jiang Nian and Ms Jiang ZhenRui. In 2012, I received my Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from the Oklahoma Cty University under the guidance of Sergio Monteiro. A seasoned pedagogue, I maintains a private studio in Wuhan and Oklahoma city.

I have been active as a studio, choral and instruments accompanist, working with choirs and soloist throughout the China, Europe, and United States. I have participated in several festivals and concerts, including the 2008 China National Piano Festival and 2012 Music Festival at Oklahoma City University.

I'm currently working toward a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy at the University of Iowa where I hold a Teaching Assistant position and study with Dr. Rene Lucuona.

匡璇，早年跟随欧芳华，蒋振瑞教授学习。2006年考入武汉音乐学院钢琴系，师从优秀青年留英钢琴家，青年教师蒋念。2010年在武汉音乐学院编钟音乐厅成功举办个人独奏音乐会。后赴美国跟随Dr.Sergio Monteiro 教授深造， 2012年在美国奥城举办硕士独奏音乐会，并获得钢琴演奏硕士证书。2013年起，在爱荷华大学跟随Dr.Rene Lecuona,Dr.Allan Huckleberry 等教授攻读钢琴演奏与教学专业的博士学位，同时担任爱荷华大学钢琴专业的教学助理，爱荷华大学声乐专业艺术指导。美国钢琴教师协会成员，奥克拉荷马城教师协会成员，武汉音乐家协会成员。
